it just makes sense to me that lucanis would be the one to kill the venatori mage and he deserves it
#i mean for a feared assassin he doesn't really get many wins - misses ghilan'nain. fails to kill zara. misses ghilly again. this.#but anyway as i was saying BARKBARKBARKWOOFGRRROUUGHH i didn't know how to put him in his defualt armour but it turns out i don't miiiiiind#dragon age veilguard#da4#lucanis dellamorte#dragon age veilguard spoilers#da4 spoilers#but in all seriousness it bothers me that we technically don't get to utilize him for the reason we hired him#and kinda feels irrelevant overall to the plot as a character. obviously i love him AS a character. but like#even ignoring the whole 'we need to take down gods. so who do we hire? assassins.' logic; the only reason he ends up getting close to ghill#in the first place is the wings. which is not at all why we hired him. and then he says he's distracted mostly because of spite#and it's like. spite's the reason you got that far at all. idk how else we expected you to even do this. and apart from the first 5 seconds#we met him and the actual combat itself yeah we don't really get to see him be this legendary assassin he is#granted there's probably cut content that might have touched on this further and as a companion he needs to have some kind of issues#we help him develop through which we do but idk i think he could have been integrated better without taking away from the intensity of it#ANYWAY man deserved more W's
